How to generate an animated gif within Codename One -

i wanting generate animated gif in codename one. combine user supplied image text transition across image in way. assume need create seperate images text , combine them user image. possible codename 1 , if so, how go it?

codename 1 supports adding animated gif using add animation option in images section in designer.

however, sounds looking achieve text transitions. suggest @ container.replace() , animatelayout(). can see samples of using them both in kitchen sink demo under effects , layouts.
