laravel 5 - BSoD on vagrant up (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) - Windows 8 -

i have problem vagrant, trying initialize virtualbox laravel/homestead box.

i have installed latest version of vagrant (1.7.4) on windows 8 os. have installed oracle virtualbox 5.5.0.

then did in windows command prompt:

vagrant add box laravel/homestead add laravel homestead box

vagrant init laravel/homestead

and

vagrant up

after vagrant up somewhere in process system fails bsod (kmode_exception_not_handled)

any ideas of have done wrong, or have experienced problem?

make sure don't have hyper-v windows resource active. if had installed docker before check this, coz docker needs hyper-v.

in case works me

search "windows resource" on windows start menu, , click on enable or disable windows resources, find hyper-v, uncheck checkboxes , ok. restart machine after this.

i'm trying subclass qstyleditemdelegate remove focus rectangle in qcombobox . even though i'm calling base implementation of paint function , nothing else, result different. looks if parts of style-sheet influence bounding box of item taken consideration. class pstyleditemdelegate(qstyleditemdelegate): def __init__(self, *args, **kwds): super(pstyleditemdelegate, self).__init__(*args, **kwds) def paint(self, *args, **kwargs): qstyleditemdelegate.paint(*args, **kwargs) what have paint unmodified qstyleditemdelegate ? as suggested tried replacing pyside pyqt4 , works, appears bug. update pyside 1.1.2 1.2.1 result same. unfortunately switch breaks other parts of code, if there no other suggestions i'm going accept answer. edit bug tracked here
